At a press conference on Thursday, Governor Baker announced a rapid response coronavirus testing program to be available for Massachusetts schools.
While we see this as an important development, we are stunned that this program does not include the same for early education and care and out-of-school time.
Take action today to urge Governor Baker to apply the rapid response testing in K-12 schools to early education and care and out-of-school time programs.
Here is what you can do RIGHT NOW:
- Send an email or call Governor Baker at 617-725-4005. Ask Governor Baker to include rapid testing for coronavirus in early education and care and out-of-school time program settings.
- Tweet! Sample: “Good start @MassGovernor. But we need rapid testing for early education and care and out-of-school programs. They have been open since June 22. Where is the testing?”
Check out @EarlyEd4All for more tweets.
- Contact your state legislators and ask them to contact the Governor.
Take action and then help spread the word to others. We are in this together.
